Community Guidelines
Our community thrives when members engage with respect, curiosity, and good faith. To maintain a safe and welcoming space for all, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
1 Be Respectful & Inclusive
Treat all members with dignity. We do not tolerate discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, or any other identity. Health conversations involve vulnerability—respond with empathy, not judgment.
2 Share Accurate Information
If you share personal experience, label it as such. Do not present anecdotes as medical fact. Cite credible sources when making health claims. Our editorial team verifies information before publication, and community members help keep discussions honest.
3 Avoid Self-Promotion & Commercial Spam
Our forums are for genuine dialogue, not marketing. Do not repeatedly promote your own products, services, or social media channels. Relevant, occasional sharing is acceptable with moderator approval; spamming will result in removal.
4 Protect Privacy & Confidentiality
Never share another member's personal information, location, or health details without explicit consent. If you share your own story, do so knowing it may be read by the public. Use pseudonyms if you prefer anonymity.
5 No Harassment, Hate Speech, or Threats
We have zero tolerance for bullying, dehumanising language, or threats of violence. Disagreement is welcome; abuse is not. Violators will be warned, suspended, or permanently removed.
6 Seek Professional Help When Needed
Our community offers support and education, not diagnosis or treatment. If you are experiencing a health crisis or have urgent concerns, contact your GP or NHS 111. Mental health resources are available at every stage of our platform.
7 Report Violations
See something inappropriate? Use the report button or email us at [email protected]. Our moderation team reviews all reports promptly and takes action to maintain community safety.
Members who repeatedly violate these guidelines may lose posting privileges or be removed from our community. We reserve the right to edit or delete content that breaches these rules. If you have questions about our policies, please reach out to our editorial team.
